As well as being able to provide Anaphylaxis and educational services for groups, Anaphylaxis and Allergy Consultancy Services offers a consultancy service which will be of additional assistance.  
 
 
Directions Health First Aid Training
 
Directions HealthDirections Health, as part of their First Aid Course, trains all participants in the use of an Epip-pen and anaphylaxis awareness.  They also offer a short 4 hour certificate (Unit of Competency 21659VIC-which includes VBP434 and VPAU320) course informing parents and teachers of the causes, risks and consequences associated with anaphylaxis, how to minimise and manage risk, signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, administration of an epi-pen and the roles and responsibilities of individuals in responding to allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. We offer innovative, flexible training options, including convenient self-study components.  There are 2 delivery options for the Anaphylaxis Course-that is an online option with a 1 hour face to face workshop and the standard 3 hour face to face workshop.
 
This nationally recognised short course is designed to develop the skills and knowledge to enable you to assist a casualty suffering a severe allegic reaction, by the administration of the casualty's own adrenalin supply through a controlled dose injecting device (Anapen or EpiPen®), until the arrival of medical assistance. In addition, the course develops skills in the recognition, management, prevention and risk minimisation strategies related to allergic reactions and anaphylaxis.
